GETTING THERE
For our Russian, Ukrainian and Latvian tours, the group members will meet in New York City and depart from John F. Kennedy airport. You will need to book a connecting domestic flight to New York. If you need assistance in booking your domestic flight please feel free to contact us. Your international flight details will be E-mailed and or mailed to you once you make your reservation. It will be important that you try to allow yourself at least 3 hours between the time that you arrive at JFK and the time that your International flight departs. JFK is notorious for delays, even if your flight arrives on time it may be delayed at the gate. You will also want to give yourself the same leeway for your domestic flight back home. You will have to pass through customs on the way back in New York and that can take anywhere between 25 to 45 minutes, barring any problems. FLIGHT TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE so be sure to check with us to see if there are any variances. The tour leader who will accompany you to the host city will meet you at the appropriate gate. This tour leader will normally page all members of the tour from the gate desk well before departure and this will be your first opportunity to meet your fellow tour members.
Your tour leader will also assist you with items such as customs declarations and procedures and anything else you will need to know immediately upon your arrival.
You are about to begin the most
exciting experience of your lifetime!
